some people are just great

i freakin' love "7 nation army." i just do. so there. and i'm gonna shake my booty now...

this lady at work... she's this old, cool, chain-smoking black lady. she's one of those ladies that always says it like it is. she has this gruff voice, and she really has a heart of gold, but you wouldn't know it right off. because she sounds so harsh and scary and she's so serious looking. but all i do is laugh when i'm around her. she's really the sweetest woman... a little insane, but hey...

she's one of those ladies that goes, "...sheeeyut" after everything.... just say that outloud and you'll get it :)

she just cracks me up. she's not the smartest woman ever, and she's not the most well off, but you know that she's full of wisdom. she's rarely wrong, and she does everything for everyone, even though you probably wouldn't get her to admit it.

ha, she also talks to herself a lot. haha. we were sitting there yesterday at work, and she's just talking loud as can be. and one of the other women starts looking at her like she's trying to really listen. so i think, oh, maybe she's talking to her. then i realize we're both trying to figure out if she's talking to herself. then, one of the other ladies says, "are you talking to yourself, betty?" and we all start cracking up since we were all wondering the same thing. and then betty (this isn't her real name) starts cracking up too. it was classic. she's great.

and to think i was completely scared by her at first. she's so loud and gruff. well, actually i'm still scared of her, even though i know she's a sweetheart and that she likes me :) ... sheeeyut.
